Re: Anybody Going to Burningman from New England
Sun, May 29, 2005 - 12:40 PMwell brotha mikio, it will be cool. the circus tent is already paid for, and the scene growing up around cirque berzerk is quite freaki.
However, the tent is a performance space, not a camp. some of the cirque berzerkers i am fond of and could happily camp with, but i have closer friends elsewhere. my primary role with cirque berzerk is as house (circus tent) dj. -

Re: Anybody Going to Burningman from New England
Sun, May 29, 2005 - 12:29 PMi have lots of friends who are going, but ya know, there are friends and then there are the people you can trust to be really good campmates and create a great communal experience.
i haven't been to black rock city since 1999, so i don't have a regular last week of august crew, cuz guess what? for many years, you guys have been that crew!
i still don't have a clue where i'll camp--maybe with one of my local crews, maybe with kenny and my bay area friends, or maybe with some cutie-freak on the far edge of the playa.
last year, the brane village (l.a.) had a really sweet meal plan for a couple hunny, so if i jump on that, i may want to camp near or with them.

Re: Anybody Going to Burningman from New England
Tue, August 2, 2005 - 5:35 PMWe are out here on the playa, Dana, and we just tore down that fence. We needed building material for the Man and the Temples. So the fence has been recycled and everything is cool.
I can tell you that when the time is right, you will feel it. But you first have to be willing to get over the seeming improbability of it all.
Eileen Jager is committed now, but I saw her go from doubt, regret and fear, to now being totally psyched about all the fun she is planning to have and discoveries she will be making.

Re: Anybody Going to Burningman from New England
Wed, August 17, 2005 - 9:23 PMDana, it is going to be one amazing adventure that will alter the way you see things full of art, music and friends. In the desert of all places. Good thing that you know how to firewalk! I see no fence but surely would miss you at camp. Do what is right for you! Patrick promised to kidnap me in fur handcuffs and bring me to Burningman with all my friends but I told him he'd have to do it during breathwork with Sylvia at that time! We are going to fuse all together in one nationwide celebration of life. xo No! Don't leave us! We want you in New England (hmm, attachments, might that make you jump?Working it here. Support is the best I can offer in whatever you decide.) -

Re: Anybody Going to Burningman from New England
Tue, August 23, 2005 - 3:10 PMI bought a ticket back in Jan, and am looking to sell it for what I paid (the early bird rate of $188.75 plus the postage to the person who buys it).
Last year I went to DNE for the first 4 days and then went to Burning Man. It was amazing (hence this year's ticket) but I decided that it's been too long sice I had more than a weekend at camp. So I'll be at DNE while my ticket (hopefully) gets to go to BM. -

Re: Anybody Going to Burningman from New England
Tue, August 23, 2005 - 7:39 PMThanks 'Ji & thanks Gadiel,
just talked to Gadiel and we're hooking it up.
On another note: Man I have been freekin sleepin! I can't believe for almost a weeks time I missed a post in which ALisa referenced herself as being carried off in fur handcuffs! My radar is really on the fritz. This image alone is worth the price of the ticket. :-) :-) :-)
